I serve adults and adolescents (13+) in New Jersey, helping them overcome emotional and behavioral challenges that get in the way of living a high quality life. I provide a space for clients to clearly identify their challenges, define their goals and gain new perspectives. Working with me, clients use their strengths to unlock better belief systems, become solution-oriented and increase their mental/emotional resilience for sustained success.
I use the mindsets learned as a professional athlete, coupled with training in evidence-based interventions of clinical social work to facilitate the change my clients are seeking.
I draw from evidence-based modalities including; cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT, CBT-I), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy (SFBT), coping skills, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and breathing techniques to tailor fit a treatment plan for your unique needs. I equip my clients with practical skills to overcome day to day challenges and collaborate with them to create improved systems of operating.
Working with high-achieving individuals on optimizing their mental health and performance has revealed some common trends. My clients tend to be ambitious people who have become crippled with anxiety, unhelpful personal narratives and self-doubt. Working together, my clients learn how to use stress to their advantage, create personalized tools to quickly rebound from setbacks and learn how to redirect constant self-criticism to create and sustain solution-oriented mindsets.
